Meet Mama Ging

Hi!
Thanks for stopping by!

My oldest daughter has red hair and her friends call her Ging, and they call me Mama Ging, so that's how my blog name was born.

I started a blog because I do have friends and family who are not on Facebook and I wanted a way to keep in touch and share what I do with my  family, hobbies and interests. But for those who are just stopping by my blog from some other means, I thought I'd introduce myself and say thanks for joining me! I'd love to hear from you. You can EMAIL me any time! I love meeting new friends in blogland, being inspired by & hopefully inspiring others.

This is my wonderful hubby and I.

We have a daughter together and 2 daughters from my previous marriage.
These are the 3 beautiful babes we have been blessed with:

and this is our family pet, Wallace... a Silky Terrier. He will be 3 end of August.

About me.... I'm a 40 something wife & mom of 3 girls. I have a wonderful family who supports me in all I do, whatever it may be. I love to spend time with my family, read, cook/bake, sew, knit, crochet, take pictures and anything general crafting. I grew up with a mother who was very crafty/DIY and made us wonderful home cooked meals and baked. Feeding your family well & having family meals was something that was important to our mom, and it's now important to me as a wife and mother. Like most of the country, I like Pinterest. I love being inspired by other blogs that I read, whether they be about DIY projects, food or crafts. It brings me joy when I hear that someone was inspired by one of my posts!  I love good coffee, wine, and baseball (my team is the New York Yankees and my husband is a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan. (I  know, right?!) I'm a big PBS fan - I love Downton Abbey, Call The Midwife, older ones like Foyle's War, BallyKissAngel, Rosemary & Thyme, Worst Week of My Life... PBS shows are great, except they have short seasons... boo. I absolutely love Parenthood, I have a huge crush on Adam. He reminds me a lot of my hubby! I'm a Cinco de Mayo birthday girl and love to combine the 2 celebrations into one.

I would absolutely be ecstatic if you subscribed to my blog or followed me on Facebook. Just enter your email address below and you'll never miss a post. And it'd be just lovely if you told your friends too. :)
